Mini Wire Welder and Compactor

Applications:

	Wire to Wire Weld: Several stranded wires are welded together. Typical applications include wire harnesses for automotive or appliances.
	Component to Wire Weld: Stranded wires can be welded to a component. Components can include devices like thermal sensors.
	Wire Compaction: Strands in a wire are solidified into a solid mass. Solid mass can be square or rectangular. After compaction, the wire can be welded to another assembly. Compaction keeps strands from shorting adjacent contacts.

As demands have increased for compacting smaller gauges of stranded wires, Miyachi Unitek has released a new “Mini Compactor”.

The new compactor is based on the popular Miyachi Unitek 180A/EZ weld head. The head may be paired with an inverter welder or a conventional AC welder depending on the demands of the application.
